Bread making in Montmartre
From 26 January 2012
To 30 June 2012
Ever wondered why french bread is so good? Curious to know more about yeast, flour and gluten? This hands-on class will show you the techniques and secrets to bake classic French breads with your home oven. We will use ingredients and tools that you will be able to find back home. In about 3.5 hours you will make, bake and taste baguettes, brioche and one seasonal bread (pissaladiere, fougasse, pizza or nut bread). Some bread requires a long fermentation so even though you will be making everything from scratch the dough might be prepared ahead of time for baking.
